  2. Choose the skill level of the computers

    In particular, have easy, medium, and hard where hard is harder than it is now.

  3. Shoot the moon option

    One twist we sometimes do is allow one team to "shoot the moon" or call that they will make a perfect hand (all the points but not necessarily all the tricks) PRIOR to the hand being dealt. If they do then they win the game. This is usually called as a last ditch before their opponents go out.

  4. Make it so you can call your partner by calling a card

    When we play at home you choose trump and then which card is your partner. So you are not always partner with the same person. After winning the nest you call "red is trump and the red one is my partner". Adds a little twist.

    Another description:
    We've always played a variant whereby the partner is 'called' by the winner of the bid, i.e. 'red 14 is partner.' The partner is unknown until that card is played, table talk is forbidden. Scoring is shared between partners for the round only, but the game is won by the first individual player…

    You can play with your friends! There is a new update available that supports multiplayer games. Enjoy!

    I’ll update this idea and remove the online play portion and leave the other ideas so that people can still vote on this.

  6. Create a no trump option

    Have been playing this game for almost fifty years, and your app is tremendous. The only option missing is the choice of "no trump" as a trump selection -- high card of lead suit wins; blackbird is low card of every suit. If possible, this would be a great addition to your game.

  7. Ability for partner to call trump

    We have always played that the person who wins the bid may elect for his partner to call trump instead before he discards the nest. obviously without any kind of table talk etc. it would be neat if that functionality could be added in! idk if this is an official rule but it is in my house :)

    Multiplayer is great, (what little i've played it so far, but right away I know it needs chat capability! Thanks for your awesome work, keep it up.

  9. Bidding

    The way we play the first person to bid can't pass so it would be awesome if you could make that an option. Idk how you would word it. Maybe first bid can't be pass. Make it an on/off option.

    i've played it this way and it makes it more challenging and makes you have different strategies at hand to use.

  12. Add call partners, 20pt final hand bonus

    Call partners allows the high bidder to call a card and whoever holds that card becomes their partner for that round. In this mode, everyone's points are independent.

    The 20 point final hand bonus is awarded to whoever takes the final hand, and brings the point total to 200, which is more rounded and matches the official rules.

  15. Cannot break trump until there is no choice

    Trump cannot be played until a player is not able to play the colour of the current round. Once trump is played then all other players can play trump as they want.

    In other words, no bleeding trump

  18. When trump is led, you don't have to play Blackbird

    South western Virginia rules

    We play in that if someone leads off with trumps, and you have the bird and no other trumps, you do not have to play it. This completely changes the strategy and increases the challenge.

    You should allow people to set this option for the bird when creating a game type

  20. 200 points with the little bird

    200 points, 6 cards in the kitty with one card up so everyone can see it. The rook bird is the highest worth 20 points and the red 2 is the second highest card also worth 20 points both are always trumps. The winning bidder always calls trumps and also leads off the first round. The next highest card is a 1 (worth 15), then 14 (10) 13,12,11(worth nothing), 10 (10), 9,8,7,6 (worth nothing), 5 (5). Please put this in to be voted on. I will bring a lot of people to play this way.
